The short answer is “No“.
ShipStation’s core business is the software they build that provides the key features for shipping and fulfillment including order processing, rate quoting and shipping label printing.
What if I don’t want to warehouse my own products? Can I still use ShipStation?
The short answer is “Yes“.
If you’re interested in using ShipStation to manage your orders & inventory, but don’t want to manage your own warehouse you can turn to a Third Party Logistics Company (3PL for short) also known as a Fulfillment company or Fulfillment Warehouse. Luckily ShipStation maintains a large list of these fulfillment providers on their partner’s page.
Keep in mind that not all ShipStation 3PLs function the same way. Some services are tightly integrated with ShipStation and others are not.
